This first meeting will be on Monday February 27 th at the Annual Meeting being held at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN. Its important that we get a good cross section of vehicle OEMs, 1 st tier supplier and fleets to clearly define the scope and objectives moving forward. Ballots for TMC's Full Member Board of Directors Election are being sent out via first class U.S. mail this week to all TMC Full (Fleet) Executive Level members. There is one open (Full) fleet member position on TMC's board of directors. Returns must be received at TMC by February 5, 2016. TMC directors serve a three-year term on the board, and can serve for a maximum of two consecutive terms. Five individuals are running: Richard Winters, Verizon; Scott Bartlein, Barry Trucking; Randy Tumbarello, Trimac; Curtis Cummings, FedEx Freight; and Randy Obermeyer, Batesville Logistics.

TMCSuperTech 2015 concluded Wednesday, Sept. 23 in Orlando with FedEx Freight's Eric Vos being named overall Grand Champion. Winners were announced for Places 1-20 as well as for the various stations held at the event. TMCFutureTech 2015 for students was also concluded with Daniel Hanna winning the championship this year in the student competition. The 119 finalists for TMCSuperTech 2015 were announced Monday evening at TMC's 2015 Fall Meeting. They will go on to the Hands-on Skills Challenge finals Tuesday, Sept. 22. These included state contests champions from 22 states, who have an automatic bye entry into the final round of competition. Congratulations to these 119 technicians who represent the best of the best in technical skill among our nation's professional commercial vehicle technicians. Looking forward to a great final round today, and looking forward to the National Student Technician Competition -- TMCFutureTech 2015 sponsored by Velociti -- which also kicks off this morning.
