If you think education is expensive, try ignorance - or so the saying goes. Training is a priority for many fleets facing the rapid changes in today's technology. It seems that every month brings new challenges and changes to the transportation industry. On-going training will ensure that a fleet is operating efficiently under many new circumstances. But there is an area that many fleets may overlook; continued training in the use of VMRS. A fleet would be wise to offer VMRS training to its employees on a regular basis

TMC Offers Members New Opportunity for Online, Fleet-Focused Cybersecurity Training Council Working with SERJON, LLC to Provide Members Access to Cybersecurity Certification Training at a Discounted Price. American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) and SERJON, LLC announce a new collaborative effort to bring commercial vehicle cybersecurity training to TMC, American Trucking Associations, and other ATA Council members. The collaboration provides their members access to the certification training at a discounted price. SERJON designed the module-based cybersecurity training program to better enable practitioners and decisionmakers to secure and defend their business information technology systems, equipment and companies against threats and attacks, as well as to build incident response-capable and resilient organizations
This task force will develop recommendations for commercial driver training that should be provided regarding automatic emergency braking, lane departure systems, and other appropriate ADAS, to optimize driver performance from a better understanding of how these systems work and modification of driver behavior can achieve a safety and more satisfying experience
