    Anti-Trust & Guideline Disclosure: Attendees were made aware of the ATA antitrust and patent disclosure guidelines.

    Scope and Objectives: This task force will identify and develop an informational paper for electric commercial vehicles.

    Meeting Minutes:

    Shawn presented a draft informational paper outlining Class 2 through 6 EV inspections, which included updated recommended practices and safety standards. She sought feedback on potential improvements to various sections of the paper. The team discussed the progress on the informational paper regarding S. 14 Class E 2 6 EVI, with plans to add additional content and citations from various sources. The next meeting is scheduled for July 15 to review draft 3.

    It seems that you are working on a draft proposal for a recommended practice, which is in keeping with the approved scope of the Task Force.  In information report (which would not contain recommendations other than references to existing standards and/or RPs), if that intended to be proposed as a first deliverable, typically would become part of the introductory section for a draft for an RP. It may well be more expeditious to forge ahead on the draft RP proposal which would be reviewed and at the public task force session during the Fall Meeting. That would be the shortest path to attaining consensus on a proposal that could then be recommended for the formal balloting and appeals processes.
