Thank you for that clarification regarding the defueling of CNG vehicles.
Including the most recent fuel system inspection record with the transfer paperwork is also a great recommendation.
That documentation will provide transparency, support compliance, and ensure the next owner has accurate maintenance history on the CNG system.

Regarding defueling of CNG vehicles - this should only be done if the vehicle is being scrapped. if it is being sold/transferred, it would be rendered disabled if all fuel was removed.
I would add that the last fuel system inspection document/record should be included with the paperwork transferred with the vehicle.
