Regarding any consideration of a proposal for an RP and associated calculator to be recommended for balloting to the entire TMC membership, there must be a "final" draft of source files presented in the Task Force public session and discussed before any motion for a recommendation can be made and voted on my members of the Task Force for the record. A calculator (presumably in Excel with macros) would need to be tested beforehand in order to allow for a proper evaluation at the public session. In addition to a what we would presume would be a model methodology for identifying/evaluating EV TCO for a fleet, the RP proposal would also need to serve as the "user manual" for the calculator.
Is there enough time to reasonably get to a final draft stage before Annual Meeting, or would a better target be the 2026 Fall Meeting? Since the balloting and appeals processes take 12 months prior to publication, having everything finalized beforehand make it more likely for the version proposed to make it though the first time around.
