  • NEW DATES FOR TMC's 2021 ANNUAL MEETING & EXHIBITION! REGISTRATION OPENS NOV 23.

TMC Members, Meeting Attendees and Exhibitors:

Since March, ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) has been closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, with the health and safety of our participants foremost in mind.

We have been working diligently with our partners the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) and Conference Direct to ensure our ability to meet in person for the Council’s 2021 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, originally scheduled for March 8-12 in Orlando, Florida.

We recognize that corporate travel remains restricted for many companies at this time, and we anticipate that will remain the case as we enter the first quarter of 2021. Accordingly, we have been working with our Florida partners on possible alternatives to our March dates, should conditions merit postponing our March event.

Last week, we did receive from the OCCC a set of alternate meeting dates that would fully accommodate our plans for an in-person Annual Meeting. Therefore, with the full support of TMC’s Board of Directors, ATA/TMC has decided to reschedule the Council’s 2021 Annual Meeting to April 12-15, 2021.

Registration for TMC’s 2021 Annual Meeting will open Monday afternoon on November 23.

Since we will be using the same space in the same configuration, all booth space reservations will be preserved as assigned, and our meeting agenda will take place as originally planned.

We are greatly encouraged by our strong exhibit sales thus far, and initial surveys have indicated more than 75 percent of 2020 Fall Meeting attendees responding said they planned to attend our in-person Annual Meeting in 2021. Moving our event into April, we believe, will give our attendees an even better chance of being able to join us in Orlando.

Should conditions require a further change in plans, we will share that information with you as soon as possible — but rest assured it is our every intention to meet together in person in 2021.

With that said, we ask that you take a brief survey to help us gauge anticipated attendance for our rescheduled event. Please click the link here to participate.

On behalf of TMC, I thank you for your support of the Council, and your understanding as we, together, navigate these uncharted waters.

    Sincerely,

    Robert M. Braswell
    TMC Executive Director
