Are you receiving the maintenance reports you need? Do they contain pertinent information? Are they written in a standard language so everyone in the shop can understand? Even if your fleet uses an outside vendor for maintenance repairs, correct reporting of all maintenance related actions is critical in keeping equipment on the road and in good working order. That's where Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS) comes in.
VMRS was developed as the universal maintenance language for fleets. It is the comprehensive coding system fleets use to track all maintenance-related activities. VMRS provides a very detailed information source for managing fleet maintenance and costs.
From individual fleets to software providers, VMRS provides the key ingredient for accurate reporting. It establishes an accepted coding convention that gives fleets a reliable method of tracking labor and parts replacement costs. VMRS can also be used to determine sound equipment budgeting.
When it comes to reporting for service, VMRS can be counted on to produce results!
