  • Build Up the Social Media for TMC20!

    With the 2020 TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition kicking off in just 10 days, we are sharing some suggestions on how to engage and help build more excitement leading up to the meeting on social media and encourage you to post throughout the conference.

    Here’s what you can do to be part of the conversation:

    The official event hashtag is #TMCAnnual20 – use this in your posts on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)

    1. LET PEOPLE KNOW YOU ARE ATTENDING – Graphics Available

    Tell your followers you'll be attending the conference in advance and encourage them to register (use the URL http://tmcannual.trucking.org & #TMCAnnual20 in your posts).

    We encourage you to download and share these graphics on your social media accounts - which can be found here.

    This will help you connect with other attendees prior to the conference. Please share/retweet one of TMC’s posts and add your own personal message on top to encourage last minute registrations and connecting with attendees on-site (note: on-site registration will be available)!

    1. DOWNLOAD THE TMC ANNUAL 2020 MOBILE APP
    • Create a profile to be included on the app’s “Attendees” list.
    • Be sure to check off “Tap here to publish your profile to the Attendees list to engage with other users of the app”.
    • Look at the “Attendees” list to connect with others through the app. Turn push notifications on to receive reminders and stay abreast of announcements/changes.

    We encourage you to post quotes, insights, interesting facts from sessions and presentations. Tip: If you’re taking pictures of speakers, get their Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn handle and tag them in the photo. Don’t forget to use the hashtag and tag TMC as well.
